Virginia Ornelas

Virginia Ornelas, 46, of Levelland, TX passed away on April 23, 2025. A visitation for family and friends has been scheduled for Friday May 2, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Krestridge Funeral Home. A Memorial service will take place on Saturday May 3, 2025, beginning at 3:00 PM at First Assembly of God Church located at 709 Ninth Street Levelland, TX.

Virginia was born on March 8, 1979, to Miguel Jacquez and Maria Jesus Ornelas at their family home in Morton, TX. Throughout Virginia’s life she lived up in Morton, Levelland and Lubbock, TX. She married Clifford Mitchell on January 20, 2005 in Lubbock, TX.

Virginia’s pride and joy were her three girls: Karma, Cy’Jai, and MiBella Mitchell. She loved to craft, read her bible and spend time with her siblings. She also loved staying busy doing different things with her husband and children. Virginia also enjoyed going to church.

Virginia is survived by her husband Clifford Mitchell; daughters: Karma, Cy’jai and Mibella; sisters: Vanessa Ornelas, Michelle Ornelas and Mariah Flores (Xavier); brother: Abel Ornelas; nephews and nieces: Tylin Vester, Dominic Flores, Brian Flores, and Gizelle Flores.

She is preceded in death by her mother: Maria J. Ornelas; grandmother: Paula Tarango and numerous aunts.

Viginia was a very beautiful and kind person. She dedicated her time to her husband, kids, and volunteering at her church. She will be deeply missed.
