William Lee Cook Jr.

William Lee (Sonny) Cook Jr., 78, of Lubbock passed from this life on March 25,2024. Funeral Services will be held at Krestridge Funeral Home at 10:00 am on Thursday, March 28,2024. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 9:00 am. Interment will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery.

He was born February 23,1946 in Lubbock to William Lee and MayDell Hardt Cook. Sonny proudly served his country in Vietnam while enlisted in the United States Army. He married Diane Isaacks on August 20,1971.

Sonny was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and MayDell Cook and sister, Gloria Gay Rogers Menapace.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory include his wife, Diane Cook; daughter, Suzanne Corbett and husband, Jeff; son, Scott Cook and wife, Nicole; brothers, Dennis Cook and wife, Paula, Otis Cook and wife, Lynn and Farley Cook and wife, Jane along with his grandchildren, Kaleb Corbett, Lauren Corbett, Grace Corbett, Hannah Corbett and Zachary Cook.
