Zelma Phillips

Funeral services for Zelma Faye Phillips, 83, of Levelland will be held on Monday, October 4, 2021, at 10:00 am at Krestridge Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Eddie Trice officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 3, 2021, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Krestridge Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery.

Zelma passed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on September 29, 2021 in Levelland.  She was born in Littlefield, Texas on October 19, 1937 to Lewis George and Lois Edna Harris.  She was the 4th of 4 daughters.  Zelma graduated from Bula High School in Enochs, Texas in 1956.  Zelma married the love of her life, Joe Don Phillips, on September 15, 1957 in Enochs Baptist Church in Enochs, Texas.  She was a devoted homemaker and worked at Your Shop in Levelland.

Zelma was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She loved Jesus, her family, her grandchildren, her great grandchildren and cats.  She enjoyed cooking, being a housewife and helping Joe Don on the farm.  She also loved having her family home for Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings.

Survivors include husband Joe Don Phillips; sons,  Greg and wife Roxann of Levelland, Keith and wife Julie of Plano, and Brad and wife Misty of Lubbock; grandsons, Shawn, Dillon and Cole; granddaughters, Kayla, Nicole, Niqui and Miranda; as well as great grandchildren, Ember, Jade and Titus.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Francis Riley, Neva Brannan and her twin, Delma Harris.
