Obituary

Cherrie Ann Land, 81, of Levelland passed from this life on November 22, 2020. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Monday, November 23, 2020, at Krestridge Funeral Home.  Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at the City of Levelland Cemetery.

She was born July 10, 1939 in Denton, Texas to Clement and Golden Davis Bush.  Cherrie attended Kermit High School.  She married Leonard Land on October 18, 1957 in Lovington, New Mexico.  Cherrie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.

Cherrie was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Alma Bettie Hooten; and brothers, Jerry Clement and Harold Bailey.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Leonard; children, Garth Clement (Myra) of Bakersfield, CA, Melissa “Lisa” Hodge (Monty) of Levelland, and Teresa Ann Rose (Scott) of Levelland; sister, Carmen Bush Arnold of Kermit; grandchildren, Misty Land of Lubbock, Garth Colin Land of New Braunfels, Shayla Hodge Ruthardt of Whiteface, Britt Hodge of Redding, CA, Aaron Hodge of Lubbock, Jordan Rose of Levelland and Audra Rose of Levelland;  11 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
