After spending almost 20 years as second generation in the Oil and Gas Industry, with most of his time spent in Management and Administration, Gene made a drastic career change.  

Raised in rural West Texas, Gene graduated from Plains High School, South Plains College with a degree in Criminal Justice and continued his studies at Wayland Baptist University.  Upon making the career change to the Funeral Service Profession, he graduated from Dallas Institute of Funeral Service with a degree in Mortuary Science.  Gene became a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in the State of Texas after successfully negotiating the exams of the International Conference of Examining Boards and is licensed in the State of New Mexico as well.  He later completed his Bachelors of Science degree from Mid-America College in Funeral Service Management, and has now completed an MBA from Sullivan University.

Gene has spent most of his adult life in community service having served on numerous boards, committees, and civic organizations.  He was elected to three terms on the Levelland City Council before his move to the Dallas Metroplex.  Prior to that, he served on the City of Levelland Planning and Zoning Commission for two terms.

Starting in a Funeral Home in Levelland, Texas, Gene’s career continued for three years in the Dallas area.  On December 18, 2001, the purchase of Kerrville Funeral Home became official.  Independent ownership and service to others in the community became reality.  On September 1, 2010, Kimble Funeral Home in Junction, Texas joined the KFH family, ready to serve the families in the Junction area.  On December 23, 2015, the building was purchased, and construction began for Krestridge Funeral Home in Levelland, Texas to become reality and also join the KFH family, giving the Levelland community a choice that was not present before.  Upon completion of construction, Krestridge Funeral Home officially opened for business on September 1, 2016.

Community service continues to be a high priority for Gene.  He has served , and currently serves many organizations, and on several boards in the Kerrville and Levelland areas and the State of Texas which include: Texas Governor appointed Commissioner of the Texas Funeral Service Commission 2009 - 2015, serving as Chairman of the Board from 2012 - 2015; Texas Governor appointed Board Member of the Upper Guadalupe River Authority 2019 – 2022; President of the Hill Country Funeral Directors Association for 2003 – 2004, and again from 2018 - 2019; Membership Resource Committee for  2005 - 2007, Professional Development Committee for 2007 -2008, Pursuit of Excellence Committee for 2011 - 2016 of the National Funeral Directors Association; Board Member of the Texas Funeral Directors Association for 2007 - 2009, a Board Member for 2005 - 2006, Secretary/Treasurer for 2006 - 2007, Vice-President for 2007 - 2008, President for 2008 - 2009 of the TFDA South Central Chapter, Board Member for 2022-2024 of the TFDA Panhandle Chapter ; Chair of the TFDA Legislative and Ethics Committees for 2015-2017, TFDA Secretary/Treasurer for 2017-2018, President-Elect for 2018-2019, and President from 2019 – 2020, and currently serves as co-chair of the Legislative Committee and chair of the By-Laws committee for 2021-2023, and will again be a TFDA Board Member serving as the TFDA State Association Representative to NFDA for 2023-2024; the Funeral Ethics Association; the American Society of Embalmers; a member of the Cremation Association of North America, serving on the Board of Directors from 2023 - 2026; a past member of the Sciences Exam Committee of the International Conference of Funeral Service Examining Boards from 2007 – 2010.

Gene is a current member of the Sons of the American Revolution, a current member and Past President (2004-2005) of the Kerrville Host Lions Club; a past member of the City of Kerrville Planning and Zoning Board for 2008-2011, elected to serve for four terms as Councilmember, Place 4 for the City of Kerrville and served as Mayor Pro-Tem (2011 – 2012 and again in 2014-2015), past Vice-President for the City of Kerrville, Texas Health Facilities Development Corporation; former Chairman and Advisory Board member of Kerrville Main Street; Advisory Board Member for The Haven Alzheimer’s Care Center; former Board Member for the K’Star Youth Shelter; former Board Member for the Hill Country Chapter of the American Red Cross; former Board member for the Dietert Senior Center; a former member of the Starkey Elementary Campus Improvement Team from 2005 - 2012.  He is also a former member of the Kerr County Ambassadors, a member of the 20th Anniversary Class (2005) of Leadership Kerr County, a current member of the Kerrville Chamber of Commerce; former member of the Kerrville Networking Group; currently a member the West Kerr County Chamber of Commerce, the Junction Chamber of Commerce, and the Levelland Chamber of Commerce, and is also a current member of the South Plains College Foundation Board currently on the Executive Committee, and a current member of the Sons of the American Revolution, Texas Tech Chapter #15.

Gene is a 32deg. Master Mason with membership of Kerrville Masonic Lodge #697, A.F. & A.M., the Scottish Rite Valley of San Antonio, the Alzafar Shrine Temple of San Antonio, TX, a Past President of Hill Country Scottish Rite Club, a member of the York Rite Chapter #305, R.A.M., Council #240, R. & S.M., the Llano Commandery #54,the Brownwood Commandery #22, the Hill Country Shrine Club, the Hi-12 Club, and the Kerrville Order of Eastern Star #24; additionally, he is a member of the Bandera Lodge #1123 (formerly the Medina Lodge #1319), Center Point Rising Star Lodge #429, Junction City Lodge #548, Levelland Lodge #1236, and the Tranquility Lodge #2000.  Having served as District Deputy Grand Master in Texas Masonic District #51 in 2009 - 2010, Gene also served a six-year term on the Committee on Credentials for the Grand Lodge of Texas.

The fall of 2004 brought additional professional certifications and recognition for Gene.  He completed the requirements for certification in the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice to become a Certified Funeral Service Practitioner (CFSP), and successfully completed the course work offered by the National Funeral Directors Association to become a Certified Preplanning Consultant (CPC).  In 2019, Gene became certified in Green Burials through the Green Burial Council.

Gene has been published in the TFDA magazine, “Texas Director” with his authored article titled “Personalization: Here Today, Tomorrow, and Forever.”  He was also featured in the “Texas Director” in the July 2005 edition with an article titled “Caring for the Departed.”  Gene has been a continuing education presenter for the spring 2005, the fall 2005, and the spring 2008 “Continuing Education Symposium” sponsored by Texas Funeral Service Commission in Austin, Texas.  The International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association hosted Gene to present at the March 2006 International Convention that was held in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Gene was invited to give the Commencement Address for the summer graduating Class of 2011 at Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in Houston, Texas and was also invited to give the Commencement Address for the spring graduating Class of 2013, along with the fall graduating Class of 2019 at the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service.  In June of 2022 at the TFDA annual convention, Gene was honored with being named the Funeral Director of the Year for the State of Texas by the Texas Funeral Directors Association.

Despite all of these activities, Gene does find time for his family.  His lovely wife Katie, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a retired Middle School Counselor, is also a Licensed Funeral Director as well as the Director of After Care and Grief Recovery for Kerrville, Kimble, and Krestridge Funeral Homes.  They have four grown children and eight grandchildren.  Although their nest is now empty their two furry four-legged babies make up for the kids being gone!  They are both members of the First United Methodist Church.

In the daily management and ownership of the KFH family of Funeral Homes and Crematory, Gene has a basic guideline that he and the staff follow, which is: “Treat all families with dignity, pride, and honor.”  Service is also a high priority, with the constant reminder that Kerrville, Kimble, and Krestridge Funeral Homes “serve one family at a time.”  Each family is as important as the other, and they should each be treated equally, with the same respect.

Coming from a background of social work and education, Katie Allen is well experienced in working with people.  

As a child of an Air Force family, Katie grew up in various locations, but considers San Angelo, TX her home town and attended Angelo State University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.  Katie continued her education at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX earning a Master of Education in Guidance and Counseling.

After years of social work, Katie had the opportunity to begin a rewarding career as a school counselor, focusing on Special Education.  During this time, she became licensed in the State of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor and opened a Private Counseling Practice in which she offers counseling to individuals and groups.  In the summer of 2018, Katie retired from Kerrville ISD after many years serving as Counselor on two different campuses.  She failed Retirement 101 and became the counselor at Ingram ISD Middle School.  She has retired again after three years assisting in that capacity and is now available full time in the KFH family of Funeral Homes.

Certified in Trauma and Loss, Katie currently serves as the Director of Grief Recovery and After Care for Kerrville, Kimble, and Krestridge Funeral Homes.  She continues to further develop the After Care programs for the families served by the Funeral Homes as well as others in the communities who might need these services.  Katie is a Licensed Funeral Director, having completed her Funeral Director studies through St. Louis Community College, and is willing to serve families along with the rest of the KFH Team.

Katie has been active in the Kerrville community in many different areas.  She has previously served on the Advisory Board for The Haven Alzheimer’s Care Center, the Advisory Board for Any Baby Can, a Board Member of the Hill Country Crises Council, volunteered as a trainer and facilitator for Peterson Hospice through the “Bridging the Gap” children’s grief program, has played for the Hand Bell Choir of First United Methodist Church, a member of the Kerrville Order of Eastern Star #24, Texas Counseling Association, and the Hill Country Counselors Association in which she is served as President (2011 -  2012).  

Katie is a member of the Texas Funeral Directors Association, National Funeral Directors Association, the Cremation Association of North America, the Hill Country Funeral Directors Association, and the Funeral Ethics Association, along with membership in Kerrville Area Chamber of Commerce, and the West Kerr Chamber of Commerce, Junction Chamber of Commerce, and the Levelland Chamber of Commerce.

As the wife of a Funeral Director and being a Funeral Director herself, along with the credentials that she brings with her to the Funeral Homes, Katie feels that she clearly understands the importance of the needs of family members who have experienced the loss of a loved one.  Her compassion for people and their emotions are a valuable asset to compliment the many areas of service that the Funeral Homes have to offer.

Reese was born in Lubbock, Texas and a graduate of Smyer High School, and attended South Plains College on a livestock judging scholarship. In 2006 he enlisted in the United States Army, being stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington after basic training at Fort Benning, Georgia. He served our country for 6 years, with one tour in Afghanistan as an infantryman, assigned to the 2nd Infantry Division, 4th Battalion 23rd Infantry Regiment. After returning from his tour of duty, in the summer of 2012, Reese made the decision to move to the Texas Hill Country and pursue a career in the Funeral Profession as a valued member of the KFH Team. Having obtained his Certificate as a Certified Crematory Operator, he then graduated from Dallas Institute of Funeral Service, Dallas, TX in November of 2014 and became a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in the State of Texas after successfully negotiating the exams of the International Conference of Examining Boards.

In August of 2015, Reese married Amanda Evans Taylor, whom he met while residing in Dallas. They now make their home Kerrville, TX where Amanda is also a Funeral Director with the family business. His children are his pride and joy, and the reason he works hard every day to be a father that his sons and daughter can be proud of. Reese enjoys golfing, hunting and spending time with his family and friends. He is also a loyal fan of the Texas Tech Red Raiders," Guns Up!" Reese graduated from Texas Tech University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree.

Reese is a member of the Texas Funeral Directors Association, National Funeral Directors Association, the Cremation Association of North America, Board Member the TFDA South Central Region, Hill Country Funeral Directors Association, and the Funeral Ethics Association, along with memberships in Kerrville Masonic Lodge #697, A.F. &A.M., Kerrville Area Chamber of Commerce, and the West Kerr Chamber of Commerce, Junction Chamber of Commerce, and the Levelland Chamber of Commerce.

Reese is very thankful for the opportunities life has dealt his way. He is very pleased to be a part of the Team for Kerrville, Kimble, and Krestridge Funeral Homes, and looks forward to having a long and fulfilling career helping families in the area that we serve.

Having been raised in Lamesa, Texas, Karen’s passion for West Texas never waned while living in the Dallas Metroplex for over 25 years. While working full time at Texas’ oldest commercial radio station, WRR, Karen attended Dallas Institute of Funeral Service and graduated in 1991.

Karen retired in 2014 after a 24½ year radio career and returned to her beloved West Texas. Being able to begin fulfilling her lifelong dream of helping families in Lubbock, Texas at Resthaven Funeral Home and in a local funeral home in Levelland, Texas finally materialized, giving her the fulfillment of serving others.

She is a member of the Texas Funeral Directors Association, National Funeral Directors Association, the Cremation Association of North America, the Panhandle Funeral Directors Association, the Hill Country Funeral Directors Association, and the Funeral Ethics Association; community memberships include the Levelland Chamber of Commerce.

Believing that funeral service is a ministry to families in their time of need, Karen looks forward to serving Krestridge families with the utmost compassion and respect.

Ron Spears was born in Lubbock, Texas and has for the most part always been a resident of the South Plains.  He graduated from Lubbock High School and went to South Plains College where he earned his Associate of Arts degree.  The next stop was Texas Tech University where he earned a Bachelor of Sciences in Education with teaching fields of English and Heath Education in 1977.  Ron taught Health Education at Monterey High School and Mathews Junior High before moving to Littlefield, Texas where he taught seventh grade English for the next 13 years.  In 1982 Ron attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma where he earned his Masters of Education with a specialization in School Counseling in 1984.  In 1990-1991 he served Texas teachers as the state president for the Texas Classroom Teachers Association.  Following his year of service, he moved to Waco to become a counselor at the La Vega Primary Center.  He spent the next 8 years as a counselor at both the Primary Center and La Vega Elementary School where he worked with students in grades pre-k through third grade.  It was during this time that he attended Tarleton State University and participated in the newly created New Century Leadership Program where he earned his Masters of Education with a concentration on school administration.   In 2000 he became the principal at East La Vega Intermediate School where he remained for the next 5 years before returning to his South Plains roots.  He served at Olton High School as the counselor for the next 3 years before becoming the Associate Dean of Dual Credit at his alma mater, South Plains College.  He served as the Dean of Continuing and Distance Education for 5 years before retiring with 40 years total in education.  

Believing that one is a lifelong learner, Ron went back to school in 2014 to Amarillo College where he earned his Funeral Director’s Certificate and obtained his Funeral Director’s License.  Ron had been working at a local funeral home since 2011 and is excited to be part of the Levelland community again.  Ron obtained his Certified Funeral Services Practioner designation in 2019.

Ron has been involved in his professional associations throughout his careers in education and now in the funeral service.  He served as officers in Littlefield Classroom Teachers Association (LCTA), Texas Classroom Teachers Association (TCTA), the Association of Texas Professional Educators (ATPE) both on the local and regional level in both Regions 12 and 17 and is a member of the Texas Retired Teachers Association.  He is a member of the Texas Funeral Directors Association, National Funeral Directors Association, the Cremation Association of North America, the Panhandle Funeral Directors Association where he currently serves as a board member, and the Funeral Ethics Association; community memberships include the Levelland Chamber of Commerce.  

In 1988 he was appointed by Governor William Clements to serve on the first Texas Literacy Council.

Ron is an active member of First Christian Church in Lubbock where he is involved with choir and serves as a Deacon.

Ron is the proud father of one daughter, Allyson who lives in Longmont, Colorado and three grandchildren, Joshua, Lilly, and Ashley.

Believing that funeral services is a ministry to which we are called, Ron is pleased to be able to service families along with the KFH family and Team’s at Kerrville, Kimble, Krestridge Funeral Homes.

Being a life-long resident of Hockley County, Mike was born and raised in the Pettit community, northwest of Levelland in Hockley County. Mike attended Pettit Schools until it consolidated with Levelland ISD in 1964, then transferred, attended and graduated from Whiteface High School before furthering his education at South Plains College where he graduated with an Associate of Applied Science degree. He also attended Trinity University and Texas Tech University.

Mike started to work at an early age on the family farm near Pettit. Later, he began to work at College Avenue Floral while in high school and was then offered a job at Levelland State Bank where he rose through the ranks to become Security Officer and Assistant Vice President for thirteen years. Mike made a move to the Whiteface Branch of First State Bank of Morton, which later became City Bank. There, he served as Branch Manager and Vice President for twenty-five years before moving to the Levelland branch to finish his banking career with a total of thirty- eight years.

Mike began working at sixteen years of age for a local family owned funeral home and has continued for almost fifty years on a part time basis serving local families.

Having been involved in the community in many different capacities, Mike has been giving back by being elected to the South Plains College Board of Regents where he has served for over thirty years and has been honored with being chosen by the board as chairman for twenty three of those years; appointed to the South Plains Regional Housing Authority, a position he held for twelve years; served as the Hockley County chairperson for the American Heart Association; has been a member and treasurer for the Levelland Kiwanis Club for many years; a member of the South Plains College Foundation Board along with being a member of the SPC Texan Booster Club.

One of Mike's great passions has been working with youth, where he refereed football for thirty two years across the South Plains, and continues in the capacity of football chapter treasurer.

Mike is a member of South Plains Church where he is privileged to hold the position of head Deacon.

Family is very important to Mike, and he is extremely proud of his two sons, Levi and wife, Whitney, and Robert Mikel and wife, Jessica. His three grandchildren, Cannon, Barron and Steelie play an important role in his life as well.

Enjoying helping people is just an instilled part of Mike's life, and the community has his name as one that they can always count on. Traveling and gardening are now a big part of life that he has been blessed with enjoying, and more so since retirement from his banking career.

Mike stands ready to assist in any way possible for those families that choose Krestridge Funeral Home, and is very proud of his "new office address!"

Jerry D. Boudreaux was born July 29, 1937 in Electra, Texas to John B. Boudreaux and Mildred Laverne (Voluar) Boudreaux. His family moved to Levelland in 1945, where Jerry graduated from Levelland High School in 1955 and joined the Marine Corp that year and served till 1958. He was discharged at the rank of E4 (Sgt). That same year, he attended South Plains College and then attended the Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science and graduated in 1960 with a license as an embalmer, funeral director and eye enucleater.

Jerry met and married Mary Beth Wilkinson in Dallas, July 30, 1960. After moving back to and settling in Levelland, he and Mary became members of The Austin Street Church of Christ till present day. Jerry has served his church as a deacon and elder there.

He has been active in the community of Levelland his entire adult life. Jerry has many accomplishments that include; co-founder and secretary for Hockley County Blood Bank; a first aid instructor of The American Red Cross; he was President of Panhandle Funeral Directors Association and served on The Board of Directors for Texas Funeral Directors Association. Jerry’s service continued with The Executive Board of Directors for SPAG as well as The Board of Directors for Law Enforcement and SPC.

Jerry has been an active member of many service clubs including The Levelland Jaycees, Levelland Chamber of Commerce, Levelland Rotary Club, and over 50 years of membership with The Levelland Lions Club. He has also served on The Levelland Zoning Board.

Jerry was a gift to our children of the community as a coach and umpire for Little League Baseball. He was also the president for the George White District of Boy Scouts.

Currently, Jerry is a member of the Texas Funeral Directors Association, National Funeral Directors Association, the Cremation Association of North America, the Panhandle Funeral Directors Association, the Hill Country Funeral Directors Association, and the Funeral Ethics Association.

After working in the funeral profession for over 40 years, Jerry Boudreaux then served Hockley County as Justice of The Peace from 2001-2012.

Not wanting ever to be idle after his last retirement, Jerry joined the ranks of “The 8:00 AM Shift at McDonalds.” Jerry is proud to be a part of the "Krestridge Family" as we serve those in our community that choose our services.

Allen Whitley came to Levelland, Texas in 1960, and was employed by Musslewhite Trucking Company until 1974. He opened and operated Whitley Automotive for 40 years until selling the business and retiring 2014.

Allen failed retirement and became associated with George Price Funeral and Resthaven Funeral Home as a Funeral Home Associate. Enjoying helping others has inspired him to continue in Funeral Service with Krestridge Funeral Home where he serves as the Funeral Home Chaplain, standing ready to assist families with their needs.

Allen is an active member of South Plains Church and the Gideon's International.

Born and raised in the small community of Walnut Springs, (Bosque County) TX, Frankie was from a large family who has always maintained a close relationship. Once the last of the family graduated from high school, her parents moved to the Panhandle and West Texas.

After attending college, Frankie met and married Elbert Allen, Sr. who had just returned from a tour of duty during WW II in the United States Army. Two children were born from the marriage, Linda and Gene. Frankie spent most of her life as a housewife and mom while Elbert made his career in the Oil and Gas Industry in West Texas, living most of that time in Levelland, TX.

Upon retirement, they moved to Brownfield, TX where they co-managed an apartment complex for 23 years. After the loss of her husband, Frankie relocated to the beautiful Texas Hill Country to be close to her son and family along with assisting in many areas of Kerrville, Kimble, and Krestridge Funeral Homes, whenever she may be needed.

Frankie enjoys reading, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and of course, her “grand-canines,” Phoebe, Khloe, Chaz, Dublin, and Max.

Larissa spent many summers in the Hill Country as a child and in 2003 moved here permanently. Larissa and her husband, Mark, have settled in Mountain Home where they enjoy the quiet of the country. Together, they have six beautiful children, Lucy, Chandlin, China, Chance, Koree and Kadee.

Larissa grew up in the Dallas Metroplex area where she also attended Dallas Institute of Funeral Service, graduating with honors in 1999. She served her provisional license period in the rural community of Haskell, TX, and first worked as a licensed funeral director in Marshall, TX before coming to Kerrville to join the KFH Team.

In August of 2012, Larissa returned to the KFH Team after working in the nursing department of a local hospital for two years. Working in nursing services for those years provided a special gift of care which also reflects the care given from funeral service. She currently serves as the Operations Manager at Kimble Funeral Home in Junction, TX.

Professional memberships include the Texas Funeral Directors Association, National Funeral Directors Association, the Cremation Association of North America, the Hill Country Funeral Directors Association where she currently serves as Secretary, and the Funeral Ethics Association, along with membership in Kerrville Area Chamber of Commerce, the West Kerr Chamber of Commerce, and the Junction Chamber of Commerce. As a member of the Junction Rotary Club, Larissa served as President for the 2014-2015 year.

Larissa and Mark are members of Notre Dame Catholic Church in Kerrville where they stay active in church and school activities. They are proud Navy parents to two boys currently serving, and four talented young ladies. Mark and Larissa like to travel and spend as much family time together as possible. They have a small farm that homes many beloved pets.

December 2019, marks Larissa's twenty year anniversary of serving in the funeral profession.

Rob was born in Arcata CA. on March 11, 1953 to Clarence and Ruby Miller. Rob has been blessed with two daughters and 3 grandchildren. Rob is a Pianist and an Organist and in his lifetime, he has been a Minister of Music in two different churches, along with being a Musician in various other churches as needed.

Rob started in the funeral profession in 1987 where he served part of his apprenticeship in Riverside, CA., and ultimately finishing his apprenticeship in Eureka, CA.

Rob attended San Francisco College of Mortuary Science in 1990 and completed his degree in 1991. Rob went back to Eureka, CA. where he was employed by Chapel of the Ferns where he worked with four Funeral Homes in three cities.

In 1996, Rob and his wife moved to the East Bay area he was employed at Greer Family Mortuary in Alameda, CA. In 1998, Rob’s wife changed employment so they moved to Santa Rosa, CA. where he was employed at Daniels Chapel of the Roses. During his tenure at Daniels Chapel of the Roses, Rob’s wife passed away.

In 2006 Rob took a break, during that four year break, Rob worked for the world’s largest seminar company, “Get Motivated Seminars,” where he was the director of operations for the logistics of the show.

Rob is a member of the Texas Funeral Directors Association, National Funeral Directors Association, the Cremation Association of North America, the Hill Country Funeral Directors Association, and the Funeral Ethics Association, along with memberships in the Kerrville Area Chamber of Commerce, and the West Kerr Chamber of Commerce, Junction Chamber of Commerce, and the Levelland Chamber of Commerce.

Rob joined the team at Kerrville, Kimble, and Krestridge Funeral Homes in 2010 where he serves as the Manager of Support Services. He resides in Kerrville so he can enjoy being close to his granddaughter.

John Lopez was born and raised in Karnes City in South Texas. At the age of 14, John’s dad moved the family to West Texas, near Lamesa, to engage in farming.

He attended Lamesa schools and met the love of his life, Linda. They were married in 1963. John worked for Britt Well Service for 15 years. In 1980, John started a 30 year career with Texland Petroleum that moved the Lopez family to Levelland.

John and Linda have four children, John Jr., Robert, Danny and Priscilla. John has been semi-retired for 9 years.

John and his wife, Linda, are members of St. Michaels Catholic Church where they are very active.

Linda Saenz Lopez was born in South Texas and attended school in Lamesa.

After moving to Levelland in 1980, Linda wanted to meet people. The late Bertha Contreras told her that if she wanted to meet people she needed to work for the Levelland School District. She took that advice and worked for LISD for 27 years. Linda still loves the kids and counts it as a blessing because they still remember her.

Linda and her husband, John, are members of St. Michaels Catholic Church where they are very active.

Lupe is a lifelong resident of Levelland, and graduated from Levelland High School. She and her husband of 47 years, Lalo, Sr., are the proud parents of two sons, Lalo, Jr. and Eric.

She took care of children in her home until 2000 when she went to work for the Senior Companion Program as a coordinator until 2017.

Lupe is very active in the nursing home ministry at her church, Park Drive Baptist Church.

As a continuation of her caring for others in ministry, Lupe became a member of the Krestridge family in August, 2018.
